A policeman accused of killing Korean businessman Jee Ick-Joo in Camp Crame in 2016 offered to turn state witness against Jee’s suspected killers during the resumption of their trial here on Thursday.
GBA Lawyer Myra Janina Bañaga, the counsel for SPO4 Roy Villegas, said that the Department of Justice had accepted her client’s offer to testify against PSupt. Rafael P. Dumlao III and SPO3 Ricky Sta. Isabel — two of the accused — but they needed to ask the court to approve it.
